Location and context
The former Makro site in Alleur, municipality of Ans, is gradually being given a new economic purpose. The location on Avenue du Progrès is part of the business and commercial environment of the Liège region. After the closure of Makro, activity is returning, with Colruyt Professionals as the first concrete step.
Accessibility
The location on Avenue du Progrès, near the E25 and E42, offers access to important traffic arteries around Liège. This makes the area interesting for businesses with clients, suppliers, and goods flows within and outside the region.
Concept
The redevelopment combines commercial repurposing with space for businesses. In addition to Colruyt Professionals, work is underway on additional shops and the SME project Parc du Progrès. A Spar and a DIY store have been announced for the former main building. The various components each have their own planning and permit process.
